Sterling silver Tiffany punch bowl and matching ladle.

  • Base with dolphin and rope motif.
  • Wave and rope twist motif on bowl and ladle.
  • Ladle inscribed with U.S. Sperry.
  • Bowl inscribed at the foot: Presented by Sperry Gyroscope Company in honor of its founder, Elmer Ambrose Sperry.
  • Elmer Ambrose Sperry (October 12, 1860 – June 16, 1930) was an American inventor and entrepreneur, most famous for construction, two years after Hermann Anschütz-Kaempfe, of the gyrocompass in 1908.
  • Fully marked, including pattern number and the letter M for Edward C. Moore, who was the head of Tiffany's silver operations until 1891.
