- Base with dolphin and rope motif.
- Wave and rope twist motif on bowl and ladle.
- Ladle inscribed with U.S. Sperry.
- Bowl inscribed at the foot: Presented by Sperry Gyroscope Company in honor of its founder, Elmer Ambrose Sperry.
- Elmer Ambrose Sperry (October 12, 1860 – June 16, 1930) was an American inventor and entrepreneur, most famous for construction, two years after Hermann Anschütz-Kaempfe, of the gyrocompass in 1908.
- Fully marked, including pattern number and the letter M for Edward C. Moore, who was the head of Tiffany's silver operations until 1891.
