Description

These dual signed player exclusive samples were worn by Tim Duncan in 2009. The 5 time NBA Champion retired after 19 seasons with the San Antonio Spurs. Duncan is a 15 time All-Star performer with 3 NBA Final MVPs and 2 NBA MVPs. He joined Michael Jordan and Larry Bird as the only players to be named college basketball’s Player of the Year, NBA Rookie of the Year, and MVP of both the All-Star Game and NBA Finals. In August of 2020, Tim Duncan was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame, an honor he shares with Kobe Bryant and Kevin Garnett.

As the No. 1 overall draft pick in 1997, Nike was quick to tap Duncan as a face for the brand. In 2003, Duncan moved to adidas; a collaboration that continued until he retired in 2016. This Team Signature collection sample was created exclusively for Tim Duncan and is outfitted with a customized heel plate labeled with his jersey number ‘21’.
