Jarapa is a generative art project inspired by traditional Andalusian textiles known as jarapas, especially those from Almería. The artwork is composed of multiple creative levels and technological complexity, entirely created in code.

Using algorithms, Harto generates designs that evoke the essence of jarapas. To bring these digital patterns to life, the artist employs a plotter as a "technological loom," which draws colored "threads" to emulate the weaving process.
