Description
In 1917, Louis Cartier took inspiration from the purity of line to create a new watch shape. The two parallel brancards are an established signature of the Tank watch. The Tank Americaine watch for men and women designed by Cartier features an elongated case with a more pronounced curve than the original model. It playfully updates the geometry of the lines, retaining the rectangular form while alternating between round edges and angles.
